Moving on to the skincare/makeup side of things, basically everything I've used from The Ordinary is a superb product for a bargain price. Glossier's Generation G in Jam is my favorite lip stain; it feels like a chap-stick and the color is a pretty, deep berry. Shape tape (which you still can't find at Sephora... but Ulta has it) continues to be my favorite concealer, and I use it every day.
I bought my Chanel boy bag ages ago, and still wear it constantly - so definitely a good investment. Speaking of investments, the retrofete dress is another good one (got it on sale thankfully) but with nowhere to go right now, I might just have to wear it for an at-home Valentine's Day date night!
With all this staying-at-home going on, we've been playing a lot of board games and puzzlin'. Mysterium has been such a fun game to play as a group - I would recommend this one.
The engraved Cartier ring was a gift for my 30th birthday last November, and I never, ever take it off. Definitely my favorite thing (along with our new blender!) from 2020. I also treated myself to a Rolex last year because... you only turn 30 once... right? Thats what I'm telling myself anyways...
A bunch of my friends have started to have babies this year (yay!) and this personalized puzzle from Etsy is the cutest gift ever. Shopping from small businesses is so important to me and (quite literally) is a huge part of my life, so I encourage everyone to shop small/local whenever they can.
We're also about to renovate our new home! So a new bed, pendant lights (for the kitchen) and a bunch of Smeg appliances were purchased in the build-up to that - I can't wait.
MORE LINKS TO ELLA RETROFETE DRESS: (I've gotten a lot of questions about it so here's where you can buy! I've scavenged the web for you so you don't have to...)
